Hey Pastor Steve, I find your comment about annoying people to be so true. Whats more, I find that after I am kind to them, it is too easy to go back to my old ways with them. I "follow the crowd" too often. I have to keep on praying and trying to be that nicer person.

I am sorry that I had not read your blog before last night's LLYWD life group. How true about annoying people and remembering that the changes do not come from them but from me! By dining with him, you found out that he was "not as annoying" as you thought. Isn't that just like God to help make it easier...but only after we have stepped out in obedience to Him!
I would have read this blog to the group and will make sure I look at your updates before we meet again.

Hey there Pastor Steve, I am at work with my friend Melissa and we were wondering if you know the girl we work with ? I am very proud of your way of dealing with the annoying one. Us on the other hand aren't ready for her to join us at dinner or lunch or breakfast. All last I kept reminding myself to "Speak Sweetly". Joleen Lee & Melissa B

I was counting the money on Monday and it came to my attention that we are getting new people into the LLYWD classes.
A young fellow named "Gerns" picked up a book (on credit) and is apparently participating in the study.
I am not sure which class he is in, but I heard he has a very long commute.
It is good to know we are reaching out into the community since sometimes new folks feel like "dummies" and don't want to participate in classes.
P.S. As I mentioned he still owes us for the book.

Reading what you are going to do for Easter really warms my heart.
In Rest Home Ministries the message of Easter takes on a whole new meaning for those who live there.
The residences wrestle with their own mortality seeing friends around them dying daily.
The act of Jesus freely giving up His life to pay the penalty for our sins touch so many that live there. But His concurring death and resurrection on Easter brings a joy that is hard to put into words.
After working in rest homes for the past nine years I have seen a lot of death. I have seen the smiles on the faces of Gods children when they take their last breath on earth knowing God has never left them or forsaken them. The realization that they are going home to be with a loving Father is heart warming.
Pastor I just want to thank you for taking the time to reach out and touch my life.
